・The 43rd story - Koubai
Azechi-no-Dainagon, the second son of the late grand ministry of state, had two daughters and one step-daughter, Miya-no-Onkata. As well as his older daughter had married the prince, Dainagon thought his younger daughter should marry Niou-no-Miya, a younger brother of the prince. Therefore Dainagon sent a waka poem with koubai (plum flower) to Niou-no-Miya. However, the young prince already had a crush on Miya-no-Onkata at that time.
